The majesty of the ocean captivated me early on, guiding me through adventures from the Chesapeake to the vibrant Caribbean. It was a backdrop to my formal education, where I honed my culinary craft, earning a Master's degree in Food Studies from NYU and a culinary degree from The Institute of Culinary Education. This blend of academic achievement and nautical experience made my transition from kitchens on land to those at sea seamless, leading me to a fulfilling decade as a yacht chef. With that chapter closed, I channeled my knowledge and passion into establishing Nauti Crew Agency, with the aim to enrich others with the rewarding lifestyle of yachting.

Nauti Crew Agency sprouted from the encouragement of my crewmates and the desire to create meaningful, enduring matches between yachts and crew. The insights gained from my time on yachts as a Chef, experiencing the challenges of the yacht job market personally and through other crewmember’s experience were instrumental in shaping the agency's ethos. When I first enter the industry it took getting through several bad boats and wrong fits before getting on a boat in Rhode Island that I just loved and flourished on.

After a decade onboard, and a little time off, I decided to accept the challenge of opening my own agency in hopes of helping crew find the right opportunities for them, and help vessels get connected with great hard working crew. I brought with me a clear vision for crew placement, emphasizing the perfect synergy between skilled crews and distinguished vessels. My personal commitment to spotting and supporting talent, and fostering their professional growth, has culminated in a robust network at NCA.

This thriving and growing community is a testament to my belief that if focus on honestly helping good crew find good boats applying and weeding out the bad ones you build a community that trust you and keeps coming back. Like most things in life, you get out what you put in. :)
